Kangaroo Island Koalas
The "Koalas" albums present photos taken on Kangaroo Island.Koalas have been introduced to the island in the 1920. The koala is related to the kangaroo and the wombat and not a bear! The koala is a marsupial mammal.The fur of a Koala is pretty thick and normally light gray. It's name relates to an old Aboriginal word which means "no drink. Koalas get the required fluids for the Eucalyptus leaves they eat. Tere are probably less than 10000 animals in the wild.
